Materials & framing
Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a wood frame. Choose White, Black, or Red Oak.
Size & fit

These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.

The Story Behind the Artwork
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
I call this one my pick of the day. The double banana was part of a bunch at the greengrocer's, and the moment I saw it, I knew it would become the shapely legs of a character waiting to be created. It does not matter whether my finds come from nature or from the produce aisle.
In the end they all arrive at my worktable, where imagination takes over and each one finds its place in a new story. I love that a smile that started at a market stall can now live on someone's wall and bring that same playful joy home.

Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Lime slice
A cross-cut citrus slice shows those neat juice-filled segments like a little stained-glass window.
Lime and citrus stand for freshness, zest and a burst of good energy.
Coral vine (Antigonon leptopus)
Coral vine flowers dangle in long sprays that hummingbirds love to raid for nectar.
These pink heart-shaped blooms are nicknamed chain of love and mean lasting affection.
Plumbago flowers (the base)
Plumbago flowers have sticky sepals that hitch a ride on clothes and fur to spread their seeds.
