A plumeria bloom stays fresh for days off the branch, which is why it is the classic lei flower.
Plumeria stands for beauty and new beginnings.

Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 10″×10″ and 16″×16″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
And after the portrait inspired by a rainbow come joyful girls, dressed in colors that simply make you happy.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
A plumeria bloom stays fresh for days off the branch, which is why it is the classic lei flower.
Plumeria stands for beauty and new beginnings.
Dusty miller's silver felt is so light-reflective that gardeners use it to brighten shady corners.
Silver foliage stands for quiet elegance.
Bauhinia leaves are twin-lobed, like two wings hinged together, and fold shut in the heat.
The twin-lobed leaf stands for partnership.
Cassia leaves are built from pairs of small leaflets, ready-made little shoes for a petal girl.
Green boots mean feet planted in growing things.
A single plumeria petal is thick and waxy enough to hold a butterfly's shape without curling.
The landing butterfly is a welcome guest, chosen luck.
Long seed pods twist as they dry; the curve of this path is exactly how the pod chose to bend.
The curved path stands for a journey taken lightly.
