Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
It is not easy for me to create with kigelia fruit. They are heavy and very dominant, but to me they are a wonder, seeing a tree that carries so many heavy fruits. A lady emerged here too, with great weight on her head, while all the other elements felt lighter and more airy.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.

Many natural ropes are made by twisting long plant fibers such as jute or sisal.
A circle of grounding, craft, and quiet resilience.
Many eucalyptus trees shed strips of bark as their trunks expand and renew.
A reminder that renewal can be strong, textured, and protective.
Bougainvillea’s vivid color comes from papery bracts that surround its tiny true flowers.
A bright collar of softness, celebration, and feminine confidence.
Commelina erecta has delicate blue petals and blooms that often last only a short time.
Eyes of fleeting beauty, clarity, and gentle attention.
Star anise is the star-shaped fruit of an evergreen tree native to parts of Asia.
A small center of intuition, inner seeing, and quiet wisdom.
