Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a wood frame. Choose White, Black, or Red Oak.
Size & fit

As a little girl, I dreamed of becoming an artist. I could not wait for my first art lessons at school. Instead, a few discouraging words from my teacher made me question my ability, and my confidence disappeared almost overnight. For many years I believed that chapter of my life had ended.
But some dreams do not disappear. They simply wait patiently until we are ready to find them again. Every piece I create is proof of that, and each one carries a quiet reminder into your home: it is never too late to return to what you love.

Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Fern-like green leaves (the hair)
A fern frond unfurls from a tight coil called a fiddlehead, named for its violin-scroll shape.
Ferns stand for sincerity, shelter and fresh starts.
Hanging seed pod chains (the fringe)
Beaded seed strings were some of the world's first jewelry, worn long before metal or glass beads existed.
Strings of seeds symbolize abundance and the many gifts of a season.
Orange poppy blooms
Poppies bloom fast on disturbed ground, which is why they famously carpet fields after they are turned over.
Orange poppies mean vitality, remembrance and quiet comfort.
Yellow bells (Tecoma stans)
