Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
I came across branches pruned from a tree. They are always an inspiration for characters, and for natural hair that is not too tidy but has style.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.

flexibility and style
Eucalyptus fruits are little woody caps called gumnuts, each one a tiny treasure box for seeds.
promise of what is coming
Birds see red exceptionally well, so red berries are nature's way of advertising a ready meal.
vitality and celebration
Celery is about ninety five percent water, which is exactly why a fresh stalk snaps so crisply.
strength and freshness
Muscari is nicknamed the grape hyacinth: each spike is a cluster of tiny deep blue bells.
