Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 10″×8″ and 20″×16″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
The chameleon is a fascinating creature, with its own quiet ways of adapting to the world around it. One lived in our garden, and I came across it several times. I have a deep love for frangipani flowers, and my daily gathering of those blossoms felt like the perfect match for creating this chameleon.
It also brought back memories from our years in Africa, where some communities believed the chameleon could cast a spell. For me it represents wonder, adaptation, and the beauty of the natural world, and that is the spirit I hope it brings to the room it lives in.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Green is the color of chlorophyll, the pigment that captures sunlight and quietly feeds nearly all life on Earth.
renewal, health, and life
A frangipani flower keeps blooming and stays fragrant for days, which is why leis are woven from it.
charm and new beginnings
Frangipani flowers smell sweetest at night, luring moths to visit even though the blooms have no nectar to give.
strength of character and remembrance
Petals are modified leaves colored with pigment to guide pollinators in like little glowing landing lights.
energy and warmth
Weathered smooth by water and time, driftwood holds a shape carved by every wave it ever met.
resilience and quiet strength
Some pods dry into tight spirals, storing spring-loaded energy to scatter their seeds with a sudden snap.
new beginnings coiled and ready
