Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.

Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.

This one belongs to my zebra series for a children's room, and it is a series of who knows why, and what for. Why is this zebra wearing pajamas? I could not tell you, and that is part of the fun. The sun is an orange hibiscus flower, and the stripes are dried banana peel.

A banana plant is not a tree at all but the world's largest herb, and its peel turns dark as it dries, which is exactly what makes these stripes.
Banana, a staple food across Africa, stands for nourishment and playing all the way.
Most hibiscus flowers open for only a single day, so the plant keeps making new ones all season long.
A hibiscus sun stands for warmth and delicate beauty.
Flowers and butterflies grew up together over millions of years, each shaping the other a little.
A butterfly stands for change and lightness.
Ferns are older than flowers and dinosaurs, and they still spread with dust-like spores instead of seeds.
Ferns symbolize sincerity, shelter and new life.
Grass grows from its base rather than its tip, which is why it shrugs off being nibbled by zebras.

A bud is a flower folded up tight, waiting for the right warmth and light before it opens.

A tendril can feel when it touches something and coils around it within minutes, like a tiny green hand.
