Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 10″×10″ and 16″×16″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
Nothing begins within a frame. Everything I create is born from freedom: the freedom to wander, to dream, to observe, to imagine, and to remain open to the unexpected.
Nature has taught me not to hold on too tightly, not to force, but to trust the creative journey and allow each piece to find its own moment in the world. When an artwork finally arrives in a frame on your wall, it carries all of that freedom with it.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
A lemon tree is generous enough to carry flowers, green fruit, and ripe lemons all on the same branch.
zest, clarity, and cheer
A pea pod is one folded leaf, and Gregor Mendel used its peas to uncover the basic rules of heredity.
growth, prosperity, and new life
As a pod dries, its two halves pull in opposite directions until they split and spill the seeds free.
release and renewal
Weathered twigs bend rather than break, quietly shaped by every wind that ever leaned on them.
resilience and flexibility
Clusters of orange berries make a bird's winter feast, hanging on the branch long after the leaves fall.
hope and enduring warmth
Holy basil, or tulsi, is revered across India and hums with a clove-like scent the moment it blooms.
good wishes, love, and protection
Impatiens is named for its impatience, since ripe seed pods burst at the lightest touch and fling seeds far.
motherly love and warm feeling
Blades of grass grow from the bottom up, which is precisely why they bounce back after every trim.
humility and endurance
