Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
This spring child was born when spring was at its peak and I was wandering the fields a lot.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.

cheer and honesty
Chamomile has been brewed for calm for at least two thousand years, from Egypt onward.
comfort
Botanically a pumpkin is a berry, a giant one called a pepo.
playful growth
Godetia petals are so smooth the flower is nicknamed the satin flower.
wonder and luck
Alfalfa pods curl into tight spirals, ready-made snail shells for anyone paying attention.
taking your time
Each fluffy mimosa pom is a burst of dozens of stamens, not petals at all.
