Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a wood frame. Choose White, Black, or Red Oak.

These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.

The Story Behind the Artwork
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
Most of my creations are women and girls, but this piece is one of the exceptions. Here a sweet little boy is resting peacefully in a hammock, without a care in the world.
Every now and then, boys also find their way into my world of creations, and this one arrived bringing his own easy calm with him. He was made from real leaves and blooms, captured before they fade, and he is very good at his job: reminding whoever passes him in the hallway that rest is allowed.

A broad leaf stands for rest, shelter, and ease.
Bottle palm fruit (the coconuts)
Coconuts are champion sailors, drifting across whole oceans before washing up to sprout on a new beach.
Nuts and seeds symbolize potential and hidden promise.
Syrian ash seeds (winged, as birds)
Maple seeds are tiny helicopters, spinning as they fall so they can glide far from the parent tree.
Winged seeds mean freedom and new journeys.
Black-eyed Susan (the sun)
Many small yellow flowers track the sun across the sky, a slow daily stretch called heliotropism.
A sunny bloom carries happiness and vitality.
