Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 10″×8″ and 20″×16″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
I read David McKee's Elmer to my granddaughter, and it stayed with me. The next day, zinnias, lantana and tiny green bananas became my own flower elephant.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Zinnias are members of the daisy family and bloom in many bright colors.
They bring a feeling of cheer, playfulness, and friendly color.
Lantana grows in clusters of many tiny tubular flowers that often change color as they age.
It suggests curiosity reaching outward with joy.
Bananas grow in hanging clusters, and the fruits are green before they ripen.
They give the little elephant a grounded, gentle strength.
A banana fruit develops from the flower of a banana plant, which is a large herb.
The lifted tail adds a playful spark of movement.
Young bananas are firm and green, with starch that turns sweeter as they ripen.
They feel like light companions flying over the elephant's daydream.
Ferns reproduce by spores rather than seeds or flowers.
They add a soft woodland path beneath the elephant's feet.
