Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
Another piece from my series of flower arrangements, which I have loved since my florist days. The combination of soft pastel colors speaks to me especially, and it is harmonious too.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
A ranunculus bloom can hold more than a hundred petals, packed in spirals so tight they look drawn by hand.
charm and quiet abundance
A gerbera daisy is not one flower but hundreds of tiny florets packed into a single face.
cheerfulness that stands on one stem
Chamomile daisies fold their petals down at night and lift them again at sunrise.
rest, patience and calm
Tweedia is one of the few flowers that bloom in true sky blue, a star-shaped native of South America.
rare calm
A leaf's silvery-grey sheen is a natural sunscreen, a fine wax coat against harsh light.
gentle protection
A tendril finds support by touch: it circles slowly until it feels something, then coils within hours.
