Materials & framing
Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Size & fit
Available in 10″×8″ and 20″×16″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
The Story Behind the Artwork
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
One of my childhood dreams was to live in Africa, and in time that dream came true. It became one of the most meaningful chapters of my life. Alongside my deep love of nature, I was captivated by Africa's extraordinary wildlife and plant life. But above all, I was inspired by the tall, graceful women I met there.
Their lives were not always easy, yet they carried themselves with remarkable dignity, dressed in vibrant colors as they fulfilled their roles in their communities. I created this artwork as a tribute to those women, and I hope it brings their strength and beauty into every home it enters.

A garlic bulb is a cluster of underground leaves, and it only smells fierce once you crush its cells and mix its chemicals.
Garlic has long stood for protection and warding off harm.
Rolled eucalyptus bark
Many eucalyptus trees shed their bark in long ribbons that curl up as they dry, showing smooth new bark below.
Bark represents protection and grounded strength.
Pansy and nasturtium flowers
The pansy takes its name from the French pensee, meaning thought, because its nodding face looks deep in reflection.
