Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
The young bunch of bananas and the moringa pods asked to become a frame for the portrait, and the pink color joined in naturally.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.

A bright crown of youth, abundance, and playful confidence.
Moringa pods are long seed capsules, often called drumsticks, that mature on a fast growing tropical tree.
They bring a feeling of protection, nourishment, and quiet strength.
Floss tree (Ceiba speciosa) flowers are large and showy, often pink with pale centers and dark markings.
Their color adds softness, celebration, and a naturally royal touch.
The floss tree (Ceiba speciosa) was formerly known as Chorisia speciosa and is now commonly placed in the genus Ceiba.
A vivid bloom beside the face suggests grace and self-expression.
Many flowers use bright pink or red petals to attract pollinators such as bees and butterflies.
Tiny blooms add tenderness, friendship, and a smile of color.
Leaves make sugars through photosynthesis, using sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water.
The leaf details give the portrait calm, freshness, and a living gaze.
