Materials & framing
Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Size & fit
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.

Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Yellow trumpetbush flowers (the golden curls)
Yellow trumpetbush produces bright trumpet-shaped flowers that attract pollinators.
Their sunny shape suggests laughter, light, and playful movement.
Pomegranate fruit tip (the top ornament)
A pomegranate keeps its crown-like calyx at the end of the fruit.
It adds a quiet sign of abundance and regal sweetness.
Bauhinia seeds (the eyes)
Bauhinia trees form seed pods that dry and split open when mature.
The seeds give the face a watchful, curious presence.
Blackened banana peel (the eyebrows)
Banana peel darkens as natural enzymes react with oxygen.
The dark arcs add expression, warmth, and a hint of mischief.
Dried Bauhinia leaf (the lips)
