Materials & framing
Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a wood frame. Choose White, Black, or Red Oak.
Size & fit

These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.

It all started with the chestnut squash that sat on my counter a moment before I baked it. It matched the autumn colors and the signs of Halloween perfectly.

Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Dried grevillea leaves (the hair)
Grevillea leaves are silvery underneath and spiky in outline, wild hair straight off the branch.
Spiky hair is the wind made visible.
Dried sabra cactus (the broomstick)
Inside a prickly pear pad is a woody net; dried, it becomes a stiff natural lattice stick.
The sabra stick is toughness with a soft heart.
Starfruit stars
Slice a carambola crosswise and every piece is a five-pointed star, no carving needed.
Fruit stars are sweetness hung in the sky.
Chestnut squash (in the hedge)
Chestnut squash earns its name honestly: roasted, its flesh turns dense and chestnut-sweet.
The squash is the harvest worth landing for.
Autumn hedge (berries and turning leaves)
