Materials & framing
Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Size & fit
Available in 10″×8″ and 20″×16″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
The Story Behind the Artwork
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
And this is the rhino dad. A proud family that can become part of a kids room, or the workspace of nature lovers.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
6 real botanicals composed the original artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
The orange sun
An orange's peel holds most of the fruit's perfume; its oils burst into scent the moment it is torn.
warmth and bottled sunshine
Branch hills
A bare branch already carries next spring inside it: every bud forms before winter arrives.
hope in waiting
Companion bird (of leaves)
As a leaf dries its green fades away, revealing browns and golds that were there all along.
the honest beauty of age
Grass and sprigs
Grass grows from its base rather than its tip, which is why a meadow shrugs off every mowing.
humble endurance
Seed pods (in the grass)
A seed pod is a plant's finished sentence: the bloom is gone and the promise is packed inside.
patience and seasons to come
