Printed and framed to order, ready to hang when it arrives. Printed on premium luster paper with rich color and fine detail, protected behind a clear acrylic front, and set in a solid wood frame: White (gallery white), Black (matte black) or Red Oak (warm wood).
Printed to order on thick matte paper, shipped rolled for your own frame. We use 189 gsm (10.3 mil) matte paper with a smooth, glare-free finish and archival inks. It ships rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube, may hold a slight curl, and flattens overnight under a book. It fits any standard frame of that size. Prefer it framed? Choose Framed above for a solid wood frame in White, Black or Red Oak.
Available in 8″×10″ and 16″×20″.
Hanging hardware is included. These measurements refer to the print size. The wood frame adds about 0.75″ on each side, so the framed piece is roughly 1.5″ wider and taller than the print.
For unframed prints, the selected size is the paper size and fits a standard frame of that size. A frame adds about 1 inch on each side.
“Every leaf, twig, petal, and seed becomes a brushstroke.”
My granddaughter loves a song about a zebra who wears a different outfit every day, yet always returns to her pajamas. On Thursday, she tries to wear a lacy dress.

The Botanicals Behind the Artwork
Shirley arranged each leaf, pod, stem, and natural fiber by hand before photographing the finished composition.
Pumpkins are fruits in the squash family, and their orange flesh is rich in carotenoids.
A bright little sun brings morning cheer and warmth.
Banana peels darken as natural compounds oxidize and dry.
The stripes keep the zebra herself, even in a new dress.
The floss tree (Ceiba speciosa) is known for large pink flowers and a spiny trunk.
The dress adds playfulness, softness, and a Thursday kind of courage.
Globe amaranth has papery bracts that hold their color for a long time.
Its little round blooms feel like buttons of joy.
Seed pods are fruits that protect developing seeds until they are ready to spread.
The green path gives the zebra a gentle place to stand.
Petals are modified leaves that often help attract pollinators with color.
The butterflies make the morning feel light and full of song.
